The new year has brought the LIFE team some exciting changes and we can't wait to share them with you. Our entire team works to dream up, create, and accomplish goals together - making it an incredibly rewarding group to work with! We tackled some great obstacles in 2020, and we're looking forward to what we're going to do together this year too.
Dr. Mara Windsor, Founder
In her work as an Emergency Physician, Mara has experienced first hand the burnout that such a stressful job can bring. She created Living In Fulfilled Enlightenment to educate others on how self-care is the most
important and valuable asset to maintain resiliency and wholeness in order to maintain optimal performance levels for patients, family, and community.
The work that she continues to do through L.I.F.E. serves as a personal mindfulness practice for her to live her best life and to practice and share what she learns during her personal wellness journey. As a result of serving on the frontline of this pandemic, she is undergoing specialized training to serve as a Peer Coach in attempts to support the emotional needs of her colleagues, first responders, and frontline heroes.
Tyler Sholl, Vice President
Tyler began her self-care journey shortly before her career at Arizona State University. After a medical mission in Managua, Nicaragua she decided she wanted to devote time teaching mindfulness and self-care to others, and joining LIFE was a natural fit!
Beginning her role in LIFE as the project manager, Tyler planned and executed many events to honor front liners prior to transitioning into her current role as Vice President. She continues to focus her attention on the community and all hospital staff by promoting opportunities for growth in mental, physical, and emotional health.
Tyler is an ASU Graduate with a B.S. in Neurobiology, Behavior, and Physiology. She is on the path to medical school to pursue her dream of becoming a physician. Tyler is a part of the team at Phoenix ER & Medical Hospital and is a former medical scribe at John C. Lincoln and Deer Valley Emergency Departments.
Ella Reithinger, Student Ambassador
Ella is the daughter of Dr. Mara Windsor and after watching her mom work to support frontline providers, she became inspired to get involved in the organization as well. Ella's community involvement includes delivering Christmas gifts to the Pediatric Emergency Department, the L.I.F.E. annual Emergency Medicine Service Day, making blessing bags for the homeless, and the Citrus Tree Harvest in Arcadia to donate to St. Mary’s Food Bank.
Ella is also a talented artist and is a regular contributor to the LIFE social media pages with her stunning artwork!
