Mara Windsor, DO, FACEP
L.I.F.E. Founder and President

Mara has spent the last 7 years studying and researching how to obtain fulfilled enlightenment and sustained happiness. In her work as an Emergency Physician, she has experienced burnout and in her personal and family life as well. She created this organization to specifically remind her of how her self-care is the most important and valuable asset to maintain resilience and whole so that she can perform at her optimal performance level for her patients, family, and community. The work that she continues to do through L.I.F.E. serves as a personal mindfulness practice for her to live her best life and to practice and share what she learns during her personal wellness journey. As a result of serving on the frontline of this pandemic, she is undergoing specialized training to serve as a Peer Coach in attempt to support the emotional needs of her colleagues, first responders, and frontline heroes.

Janine Faux, LAC
EMDR Clinician and AzTRN Member

I believe in being positive, present, and having a realistic plan for change. Behavior is influenced by core beliefs. Behaviors follow patterns that can be identified and changed. We will identify your core beliefs and challenge unhealthy thoughts and patterns. We will use a mindfulness based approach and focus on your strengths as we create a plan for change. Currently, I am working toward certification in EMDR and will be applying this therapy to my practice.

The majority of my experience has been working with young adults, adolescents, and families in intensive outpatient, educational, and therapeutic settings. My areas of specialty include eating disorders, self-esteem issues, body image work, depression, anxiety, trauma, challenges with children and adolescents, and family relationships.

I am a wife, mother, and grew up in a large family. I may understand what you are going through. You are stronger than you know and I look forward to assisting you in your journey.
